Red Maple Leaf (click here to buy)

This is a 4" X 6" acrylic on canvas archival panel. I was out walking and noticed the sun shining on this single red leaf. This one had fallen long before the others. Fall was in the air, as the days had a cool edge to the warm afternoons. Framed in a dark wood frame with "gold" painted raised leaves along front of frame. A lovely pairing. Buy at $95.

Pemaquid Point Light, Muscongus Bay, Bristol, ME (SOLD)

This is a painting done from one of our trips to the Maine coast. It was a lot of fun to explore around the many buildings here and climb down and then back up toward the lighthouse on the rock ledge below. It is a bright and colorful painting, with exquisite color in the shadows. Painting size is 10 3/4" X 7 1/2", mounted in a matching tan archival mat, with outer dimension 16 1/2" X 13 3/8". Includes UV glass and gold wood frame.

Morning At Swanzey Lake (SOLD)

I grew up spending summers swimming at Swanzey Lake with my mother and sisters, while my father worked. Once in a while, he'd take time off to come with us and let us dive off his shoulders. Those were wonderful carefree days spent on the tranquil lake. We even waited out lightning storms on the pavillion under the protective roof, where on a summer evening, lakeside dances were held. When the storm cleared, we were the only ones at the beach. The sand would be hard and cool from the summer rain. We'd just throw down the blanket and run back in the water, splashing and swimming. Every day, my mother would give us ten cents each to buy a fudgicle at the concession stand located at the bottom corner of the pavillion. Ah, those were the days.
This painting auctioned for $300 for the West Swanzey Community Church steeple fund raiser. It is included in a calendar with other artists' work.

Amanita (SOLD)
These Amanita mushrooms grow in miniature! They are absolutely adorable. I expected a lawn fairie to come popping her head out any minute. They look like they belong in a fairy tale.
